SPENCER HARVARD-WALLS BSc (Hons) FRICS
Spencer Harvard-Walls is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with more than 30 years’ experience in originating, structuring and executing transactions across private capital, real estate and alternative assets. He founded and leads Xonico Capital Management, through which he and his associates work with investors, family offices and project sponsors to originate and develop investment, co-investment and capital partnership opportunities.
His work sits at the intersection of capital and opportunity. Depending on the nature of a transaction, Xonico and its principals may act as principal, co-investor, adviser or capital partner, bringing together appropriate parties, structuring relationships and helping to take transactions from initial opportunity through to execution. Particular experience includes private placements, transactional joint venture structures, capital formation and the deployment of capital into selected projects and investments.
Xonico’s activities extend across real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources, together with selected transactions involving precious metals, commodities and energy trading. Spencer works with investors, family offices, institutions, operators and corporate counterparties, with an emphasis on alignment of interests, discretion and long-term relationships.
Throughout his career, Spencer has been involved in both raising and deploying capital, as well as acquisitions, disposals, development programmes and the restructuring and re-gearing of assets and businesses. He is frequently engaged where a transaction requires a combination of commercial judgement, structuring, negotiation and coordination across multiple stakeholders.

– Regeneration, sale and leasing of mixed-use property within London’s Docklands through Jacobs Island Company
Earlier in his career, Spencer managed a private family office, leading initiatives to unlock latent value through debt restructuring, re-gearing, portfolio expansion and development programmes. He subsequently held senior positions at Allsop & Co., where he co-headed Residential Auctions and Central London Investments & Developments; the Marubeni-Trafalgar House Joint Venture, dealing with the development and leasing of City offices; and Jacobs Island Company, where he was involved in the regeneration, sale and leasing of mixed-use property within London’s Docklands.
His career has consequently encompassed both the institutional and private sides of the market, from major property development and investment programmes through to family office assets, private capital and principal-led transactions.
